We have prepared a 48-hour itinerary for your upcoming trip to Singapore! This itinerary is specifically tailored for travelers who arrive in Singapore no later than lunchtime.
Upon arrival, you can head over to Jewel, which has a link from Terminal 1, to see and take snaps with the popular tallest indoor waterfall. You can have lunch here or at some place along or near your hotel.
Afterward, head over to your hotel and drop off your bags at the lobby for a hassle-free tour. The usual check-in time is 2pm-4pm so if you arrive early, you can leave your luggage at the hotel lobby. Most hotels offer free luggage storage.
No Singapore tour is complete without visiting the city’s iconic Merlion Park, so it should be your first stop. Take some time to relax and enjoy the experience while observing the majestic Merlion.
Next is Gardens by the Bay. This garden has a lot to offer, but with limited time in Singapore, it’s recommended to focus on seeing the Supertree Grove during both day and night. Additionally, make sure to catch the Garden Rhapsody show at either 7:45 PM or 8:45 PM.
You can have dinner at Lau Pa Sat which is a famous food court in Singapore situated in the heart of the CBD.
Lau Pa Sat offers a wide variety of local and international cuisines, making it a food lover’s paradise.
Lau Pa Sat and Gardens by the Bay are not located near each other, as they are approximately 3 kilometers apart. If you find that distance too far, you can opt for Satay by the Bay, which is situated within Gardens by the Bay itself.
Day 2:
You can visit Orchard at 9 am for a quick dining and shopping experience. Additionally, Orchard is famous for its traditional ice cream, which is a must-try for tourists. While you can find these ice cream stalls throughout Singapore, Orchard Road is the easiest place for tourists to locate them.
Head over to Universal Studios Singapore (USS) where the operating hours are from 11 am to 6 pm. It is recommended to arrive between 11 am and 12 noon in order to maximize your time at USS.
Next, you should consider trying the Cable Car Sentosa Line. The Cable Car Sentosa Line consists of three stations: Imbiah Lookout Station, Merlion Station, and Siloso Point Station. You can conveniently board the cable car at Merlion Station, which is just a short walk away from USS. When you ride the cable car, you can enjoy a view of Sentosa’s top attractions from the top. The roundtrip duration is 12 to 15 minutes.
For the final stop of the night, I recommend visiting VivoCity Mall. Upon alighting from the Sentosa Express Ride, you will arrive at Vivo City Station, which is located on Level 3 of VivoCity Mall. You can enjoy a delicious dinner at Food Republic, which offers a wide variety of food options to choose from.
After dinner, you can explore the mall and indulge in some shopping. VivoCity Mall boasts a diverse range of merchants and stores, providing ample choices for your shopping needs.
You can enjoy a good rest at your hotel before your early morning flight the next day. That concludes your 48-hour stay in Singapore! Save this itinerary and plan your travel for later.
